Interrogative particles are not always placed at the beginning of the sentence in both Colloquial/spoken Arabic and MSA/Classical Arabic.

In other words you can say for Colloquial/spoken Arabic: miin da? OR/ da miin?

On the other hand, MSA/Classical Arabic does prefer to place the interrogative particle at the onset of the sentence. Especially in written form.
