سام كان كُل يوم بِيِفْطَر في اِلْقَهْوَة جَنْب شُغْلُه Sam kaan kul yom biyifṭar fil 'ahwa gamb ŝuġlu.            Everyday Sam used to have breakfast in the coffee shop next to his work. سام كان بِياكُل بيضَة واحْدَة وِكان بِيِشْرَب قَهْوَة كِتير Sam kaan biyaakul bida waḥda wi kaan biyiŝrab 'ahwa kitiir. Sam used to eat one egg and used to drink a lot of coffee. اِلْبيضَة كانِت مَقْلِيَة وِاِلْقَهْوَة كانِت مِن غير  لَبَن أو سُكَّر Il bida kaanit ma'liyya wi il ahwa kaanit minġiir laban wi sukar. The egg was fried and the coffee had no milk or sugar. كُل يوم في اِلْقَهْوَة مُضيفَة كانِت بِتِجيب قَهْوَة سادَة لِسام Kul yom fil 'ahwa il mudiifa kaanit bitgiib 'ahwa saada li Sam. Everyday in the coffee shop the waitress used to bring a black coffee for Sam. سام ما كانْش بِياكُل كِتير بَس كان بِيِشْرَب قَهْوَة كِتير Sam makaanŝ biyaakul kitiir bas kaan biyiŝrahb 'ahwa kitiir. Sam did not eat a lot but he used to drink a lot of coffee. سام كان بِيِحِبّْ اِلْقَهْوَة قَوي Sam kaan biyḥib il 'ahwa awwi. Sam liked coffee a lot. لَمّا سام ما كانْش بِيِشْرَب قَهْوَة هُوَّ ما كانْش بِيِشْتَغَل كْوَيِس في الْمَكْتَب 'amma Sam makaanŝ biyiŝrab 'ahwa huwwa makaanŝ biyiŝtaġal kwayyis fil maktab. When Sam did not drink coffee he did not work well in the office. كُل يوم اِلْمُضيفَة كانِت بِتْجيب تَمَن فَناجيل قَهْوَة لِسام Kul yom il mudiifa kaanit bitgiib taman fanaagiil  'ahwa li Sam. Everyday the waitress used to bring eight cups of coffee to Sam. وِكُل  فِنْجال كان مَلْيان قَهْوَة سُخْنَة Wi kul fingaal kaan malyaan 'ahwa suxna. And every cup was full of hot coffee. سام ما كانْش بِيِحِبّْ اِلْقَهْوَة أمّا ما تِكونْش سُخْنَة Sam makaanŝ biyḥib il 'ahwa 'amma hiyya matekunŝ suxna. Sam did not like the coffee when it was not hot. لَو سام شِرب بس سَبَع فَناجيل قَهْوَة قَبْل الشُّغل هُو كان بِيِشْرَب التّامِن في الْمَكْتَب Law Sam ŝarab bas sabaç fanaagiil 'ahwa abl iŝ ŝuġl huwwa kaan biyiŝrab it taamin fil maktab.   If Sam drank just seven cups of coffee before work he used to drink the eighth in the office. سام كان مُدْمِن قَهْوَة Sam kaan mudmin 'ahwa. Sam was addicted to coffee.
