يوجَدُ ذاتَ مَرّةٍ رَجُلٌ اِسْمُهُ عِرْفانُ وَكانَ
مِن زَمَنٍ قَد وَقَعَ مِن سَفينَةٍ
Once there was someone called Arfaan who long ago fell
off from a ship.

اَلسَّفينَةُ
كانَت في سَفـَرِيَّةٍ
طَويلَةٍ وَالْجَوُّ كانَ
رَديءً جِداً
The
ship was on a long trip and the weather was really
bad.

كانَ
هُناكَ رَعْدٌ وَمَطَرٌ
There was thunder and rain.
|

السَّفينَةُ كانَتْ كَبيرَةً لَكِنَّها كانَتْ
تَنْقـَلـِبُ
كَثيراً
مِن
اليَسارِ
إلىَ الْيَمينِ
The
ship was large but it flipped a lot from left to
right.

عَرْفانُ
كانَ عَلىَ سَطْحِ السَّفينَةِ وَوَقَعَ
في الْبَحْرِ
Arfaan was on the deck of the
ship and he fell into the
ocean.

عَرْفانُ
رَأىَ جَزيرَةً صَغيرَةً وَسَبَحَ إلَيْها
Arfaan saw a small Island and swam to it.

اَلْجَزيرَةُ
كانَت تَتَكَوَّنُ مِنْ رِمالٍ وَشَجَرَةٍ
فَقَطْ
The Island only consisted of sand and a tree.

 |
كُلَّ يَوْمٍ عَرْفانُ كانَ يأكُلُ سَمَكاً مِن الْبَحْرِ
وَتُفّاحاً
مِنْ الشَّجَرَةِ
Every day Arfan was eating fish from the ocean and apples
from the tree.

في يَوْمٍ بَعْدَ
سَنَواتٍ طَويلَةٍ رَأىَ رَجُلاً في مَرْكِبَةٍ
يُحْضِرُ لَهُ بيتْزا
One day after many years he saw someone on a
boat bringing
pizza to him.

عَرْفانُ: ما هَذا؟
Arfan - what is this?

اَلرَّجُلُ: هَذِهِ
بيتْزا "عادِيَةٌ "
The
man - This is a regular pizza.
|
 |
عَرْفانُ: أنا لَمْ أطْلُبْ بيتْزا "عادِيَةٌ ". أيْنَ
ألبَسْطِرْمَةُ؟ اَرْجِعْها يا رَجُلُ
Arfan
- I didn't order a regular pizza. Where is the pastrami? My
man, return it!

بَعْدَ
أنْ ذَهَبَ الرَّجُلُ،
عَرْفانُ أكَلَ سَمَكَةً وَجَلَسَ
يُفَكِّرُ كَيْفَ سَوْفَ يَسْتَطيعُ
اَلْعَوْدَةَ لِعائلَتِهِ وَيَتْرُكُ
الْجَزيرَةَ
After the man left - Arfaan ate a fish and sat to think
about
how he will be able to return to his family and leave
the island.
