كانَ هُناكَ صَيّادٌ يَسيرُ في الْغابَةِ وَمَعَهُ
بُنْدُقِيّةً
There was a hunter walking in the forest with a gun.

اَلْغابَةُ
كانَتْ مُمْتَلِئةً بِالْأشْجارِ وَأوْراقِ الْأشْجارِ
The forest was full of trees and leaves.
|
 |
وَضَوْءُ الشَّمْسِ لَمْ يَكُنْ ظاهِراً لِأَنَّ فُروعَ
الشَجَرِ كانَتْ
كَثيرَةً جِداً
And
the sunlight was not visible because of the branches of
the trees (were a lot).

 |
الصَّيّادُ كانَ ماشِياً في الظَّلامِ بِبُطْءٍ يَبْحَثُ عَنْ
أيِّ
شَيءٍ يَأْكُلُهُ
The hunter was walking in the dark slowly looking for
anything to eat.
|
 |
لِأُنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَرىَ بِوُضوحٍ كانَ يَعْتَمِدُ عَلىَ
سَمْعِهِ
Because he couldn't see well he relied on hearing.
|
 |
كانَت هُناكَ بَيْضَةٌ واقِفَةٌ وَراءَهُ خائفَةٌ
There was an egg standing behind him afraid.

رَأتْ
اَلْبَيْضَةُ اَلصَّيّادَ وَهُوَ ماشِياً بِبُطْءٍ
وَمَعَهُ الْبُنْدُقِيَة
وَجَرَتْ
وَراءَ شَجَرَةٍ تـَخـْتـَبـِىءُ
The egg saw the hunter while he was walking slowly with
the gun and it ran behind the tree to hide.

اَلصَّيّادُ كانَ يَعْلَمُ أنَّها وَراءَ الشَّجَرَةِ تَخْتَبِيءُ لِأنَّهُ سَمِعَها
The hunter knew she was behind the tree hiding because he
heard her.

 |
ماذا يَصْنَعُ؟ هُوَ كانَ جائعاً
What should he do? He was hungry.
|
 |
اَلْمُشْكِلَةُ أنَّ رُصاصَةٌ مِنْ بُنْدُقِيَةٍ لا تَصْلـُحُ
في قَتْلِ
بَيْضَةٍ وَالصَّيّادُ كانَ يَعْرِفُ ذَلِكَ
The problem is that a bullet from a gun
can not kill an egg and the hunter knew this.

ألَيْسَ غَريباً أنَّ الْبَيْضَةَ اَلغَيْرَ قَوِيَّةٍ بِالْمَرَّةِ لا تَخافُ
مِن
صَيّادٍ بِبُنْدُقِيَّةٍ
Isn't it strange that the egg, that is not strong, is not
afraid of a hunter with a gun?
