Sammy is very unhappy because

Sammy - I am unhappy because mom
will not
let me
go
to the cinema.

لَمْ يَكُنْ ساميِ وَلَداً طَيِّباً اَلْيَوْمَ فَأُمُّهُ قالَتْ
سَتُذَنَّبُ
Sammy was not a good boy today so his mother
told him you
will be
punished.

ساميِ: لَكِنْ أنا لَمْ أعْمَلْ شَيْئاً فَلِماذا أُذَنَّبُ؟
Sammy - But I didn't do anything so why be punished?

أمُّ سامي زَعْلانَةٌ مِنْهُ لِأنَّهُ
يَكْذِبُ
كَثيراً
وَلا
يَقولُ الْحَقَّ
Sammy's mother is upset with him because he lies a lot and
doesn't say the truth.

أمُّ سامي: سامي إنْ لَم تَقُلْ
اَلْحَقَّ
لَنْ
يَحْصُلَ
طَيِّبـاً... لَنْ
تَخْرُجَ اللّيلَةَ
إلىَ السّينِما
Sammy's mother - Sammy if you don't say the truth
nothing good
will come of it...you
will not go out tonight to the cinema.

يُصَدِّقْ سامي أنَّ
أُمَّهُ
سَتُذَنِّبُهُ لِأنَّها دائماً طَيِّبةٌ جِداً
Sammy didn't believe that his mom
will punish
him because she always is extremely kind.

كَذِبَ سامي ثانِياً وَثالِثاً وَرابِعاً
Sammy lied a second, and a third, and a fourth time.

سامي: لا، يا أُمّي،
سَأذْهَبُ إلىَ
السّينِما اللّيلَةَ لِأنَّكِ
طَيِّبَةٌ
وَستَتْرُكيني، ألَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ؟
Sammy -
No mom
I
will go
to the
cinema
tonight because you are kind and
you
will let me,
right?

لَكِنْ
أمَّهُ
حَذَّرَتْهُ
وَسامي لَمْ
يَسْمَعْ بِالْمَرَّةِ وَظَلَّ يَكْذِبُ
But his mom
warned him and Sammy would not listen at all and he lied still.

لِذَلِكَ سامي يُداوِمُ الْبُكاءَ الْآنَ ... وَأُمُّهُ لا
تَسْألُ عَنْهُ
This is why Sammy keeps crying now...and his mom is not
changing her stance.

سَيَظَلًّ يَبْكي إلىَ أنْ
يَذهب أبوهُ
وَيَتَأسَّفُ لِأُمِّهِ
Sammy
will keep
crying until his father returns home and he says he is sorry
to his mother.
