كانَ يوجَدُ صَيّادٌ اِسْمُهُ زِياَدُ There was a hunter his name was Ziad. كانَ قَدْ خَرَجَ يَوْماً لـِيَصْطادَ He had gone out one day so that he could hunt. كانَ قَدْ دَخَلَ الْغابَةً وَمَشِيَ كَثيراً He had entered the forest and walked a lot. لَمْ يَكُنْ زِيَادُ صـَيّاداً جـَيِّداً لَكِنَّهُ كانَ يُحِبًّ أنْ يَصْطادَ جِداً Ziad was not a good hunter but liked to hunt a lot. كانَ زِيَادُ يَمْشي دائماً في الْغابَةِ وَكانَ يَتَأمَّلُ دائماً جمالَ الشَّجَرِ وَجَمالَ النَّهْرِ Ziad used to walk in the forest and used to look at the beauty of the trees and the beauty of the river. لَكِنْ زِيَادُ كانَ يَسْرَحُ بِفِكْرِهِ كـَثيراً وَيَتيهُ كـَثيراً But Ziad used to day dream a lot and get lost a lot. اَلْيَومَ تاهَ زِيَادُ مَرَّةً أُخْرىَ Today Ziad got lost again. زَوْجَةُ زِيادَ كانَتْ تَطْلُبُ دائماً مِنْ أخي زِيَادَ أنْ يَبْحَثَ عَنْ زِيَادَ وَيُجْضِرُهُ مِنْ الْغابَةِ Ziad's wife always used to ask Ziad's brother to go hunt down Ziad from the forest. أخو زِيَادَ كانَ يَجِدُهُ دائماً نائماً أو سارِحاً بِفِكْرِهِ Ziad's brother used to find him sleeping or day dreaming. وَكانَ يَضَعُ زِيَادَ في مُؤَخِّرَةِ عَرَبَةِ النَقْلِ And he would put Ziad in the back of the truck. زِيَادُ كان يَنامُ طـَوالَ الطَّريقِ Ziad would sleep the entire way. وَأخوهُ كانَ يـَشـْعُرُ دائماً بـِالـسَّعادَةِ لأنـَّهُ وَجـَدَهُ And his brother used to be happy because he had found him.
