My name is good Mahmoud and bad Mahmoud. كـَيْفَ حالـُكَ يا مَحْمودُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالسَّيِّءُ Fawziyya - Hello good and bad Mahmoud. أهْلاً، أهْلاً! Maḥmoud - Hello, hello! مِنْ أيْنَ مَحْمودُ السَّيِّءُ؟ Fawziyya - From where is bad Mahmoud? مِنْ داخِلي. فـَوْقَ عَقـْلي Maḥmoud - From inside me. On top of my logical head. وَمِنْ أيْنَ مَحْمودُ الطَّيِّبُ؟ Fawziyya - And from where is good Mahmoud? مِنْ داخِلي كَذ َلِكَ. بـِجانِبِ قـَلْبي Maḥmoud - From inside me as well. Next to my heart. وَماذا يُريدُ مَحْمودُ السَّيِّءُ؟ Fawziyya - And what does bad Mahmoud want? يُريدُ أنْ يـَدْفـَعـَكِ مِنْ اَلْخَلْفِ داخِلَ الْماءِ هُنا في اَلْحَديقَةِ Maḥmoud - He wants to push you, from behind, in the water here in the park. وَماذا يُريدُ مَحْمودُ الطَّيِّبُ؟ Fawziyya - And what does good Mahmoud want? يُريدُ أنْ يَدْفـَعَني أنا مِنْ اَلْخَلْفِ داخِلَ الْماءِ هُنا في الْحَديقَةِ Maḥmoud - He wants to push me, from behind, in the water here in the park. وَماذا تُريدُ أنْتَ؟ Fawziyya - And what do you want? أريدُ أنْ أبْقىَ مَعَ مَحْمودِ السَّيِّءِ Maḥmoud - I want to be with bad Mahmoud. إذاً خُذ ْ مَحْمودَ الطَّيِّبَ وَضِعْهُ في عَقـْلِكَ وَاِجْعَل مَحْمودَ السَّيِّءَ يَدْفـَعُكَ قـَبْلي داخِلَ الْماءِ Fawziyya - Then take the good Mahmoud and put him inside the logical part of your head; and let bad Mahmoud push you before me into the water. اِقـْتِراحٌ جَيِّدٌ وَاللهِ! Maḥmoud - That's a good idea!
