أيْنَ أنْتَ يا أحْمَدُ؟         Mother - Where are you Ahmad? ماذا يا أُمّي؟ Aḥmad - What is it mom? ألَمْ أقُلْ لَكَ لا تَاْكُلْ مِنْ الْكَحْكِ؟ Mother - Didn't I tell you not to eat from the cookies? نَعَمْ يا أُمّي... Aḥmad - Yes, mom. إذاً، لِماذا أكَلْتَ مِنْ الْكَحْكِ؟ كانوا سِتَّ كَعْكاتٍ... وَالآنَ هُمْ خَمْسٌ Mother - So why did you eat from the cookies? They were six... now they are five. نَعَمْ يا أُمّي هُمْ الآنَ خَمْسٌ ! غَريبَة... Aḥmad - Yes mom they are now five. Strange... لَيْسَ غَريباً لَإنَّكَ أكَلْتَ كَعْكَةً ، ألَيْسَ كَذلِكَ؟ Mother - It's not strange because you ate a cookie, correct? لا يا أمّي، أنْتِ قُلْتِ أنْ لا آكُلَ مِنْ الْكَعْكِ وَأنا لَمْ آكُلْ ... Aḥmad - No mom you said not to eat from the cookies and I didn't eat... إذاً لِماذا هُمْ خَمْسٌ؟ Mother - Then why are they five? رُبَّما هُمْ أكَلوا بَعْضُهُم  الْبَعَضَ؟ Aḥmad - Maybe they are eating each other? رُبَّما يا أحْمَدُ - فِكْرَةٌ وَاللهِ Mother - Maybe Ahmed, it's an idea really. ألَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ؟ ...  إذاً هَلْ يُمْكِنُني أنْ آكُلَ كَعْكَةً اَلآنَ؟ Aḥmad - Right?... then can I eat a cookie now? لا لا يُمْكِنْ! Mother - No you can not. لَكِنْ يا أُمّي إذا كُنْتُ لَمْ آكُلْ الْكَعْكَ هُمْ سَوْفَ يَأكُلونَ بَعْضُهُمْ الْبَعْضَ Aḥmad - But mom if I don't eat from the cookies they will eat one another. لا ، لَنْ يَأْكُلونَ بَعْضُهُمْ الْبَعْضَ ، أتَعْرِفُ لِماذا؟ Mother - No they won't eat one another. You know why? لِماذا؟ Aḥmad - Why? لَإنِّي أنا سَوْفَ آكـُلـُكَ! Mother - Because I am going to eat you!
