into syllables?
Rule 4:
The
shadda (
ّ
)
symbol is placed above a letter when two copies of the
letter are required in a word.
The first copy of the
letter, carries a sequoun, and is a part of the prior
syllable.
While, the second copy of the letter,
carries a one of the three short vowels, and is a part of
the upcoming syllable.
