بُعْبُع : مِن اِلشِّباك ؟
Buçbuç - Min iŝ ŝibaak?
From the window?

إيهاب : أنا نايِم مِش كِدا ؟
Ihaab - Ana naayim, miŝ kidda?
I'm asleep, right?

بُعْبُع : لاء، إنْتَ مِش نايِم.  إنْتَ صاحي .
Buçbuç - La'a inta miŝ naayim. Inta ṣaaḥy.
No you are not asleep, you are awake.

إيهاب : هُوَّ اِسْمَك إيه ؟
Ihaab - Huwwa ismak eh?
What is your name?

بُعْبُع : اِسْمي بُعْبُع .
Buçbuç - Ismi Buçbuç.
My name is Buçbuç.

إيهاب : وِليه إنْتَ هِنا ؟
Ihaab- Wi liih inta hina?
And why are you here?

بُعْبُع: أنا هِنا عَشان بَرْدان .
Buçbuç - Ana hina çaŝaan ana bardaan.
I am here because I am cold.

إيهاب : ليه إنْتَ بَرْدان ؟
Ihaab - Lih inta bardaan?
Why are you cold?

بُعْبُع : عَشان بَرَّه بَرْد قَوي ؟
Buçbuç - çaŝaan barra bard awwi?
Because outside it is very cold?

إيهاب : اِلْجَوّْ بَرَّه بَرْد قَوي ؟
Ihaab - Il gaw bard barra?
The weather is cold outside?

بُعْبُع : أيْوَه، اِلْجَوّ بَرَّه بَرْد قَوي ! مُمْكِن أنام مَعاك ؟
Buçbuç - Aywa, il gaw bard awwi - mumkin 'anaam maçaak?
Yes, the weather is very cold - can I sleep with you?

إيهاب : دِلْوَقْتِ ؟  بَس اِلسِّرير صُغَيّر ! وِإنْتَ كِبير!
Ihaab - Dilwa'ti? Bas is siriir sooġayar! Winta Kibiir!
